David Laux steps in as the new CEO of GBS

GBS has officially welcomed David Laux, as its new CEO, effective as of 26 April 2023. With this new reinforcement at the top, GBS embarks on the next stage of growth aimed at expanding its business development and seizing new opportunities.

Laux takes over the baton from Ivaylo Slavov, who has been at the helm of GBS (part of DIGITALL) since 2016. Both Laux and Slavov are co-founders of the digital transformation company DIGITALL and are active members of its Advisory Board, overseeing the business strategy of the company. Appointed as Group CEO of DIGITALL in early April, Laux is the logical choice for the leadership role at GBS as he has already been an integral part of GBS’ decision-making and supported its management in numerous projects.

Drawing on 25 years of experience in technology and consulting, Laux is a respected entrepreneur who successfully combines growth focus with innovative thinking and commitment to business objectives. Until 2021, he headed ec4u expert consulting ag – a leading consulting firm for customer management in DACH and one of DIGITALL’s two predecessor companies. Prior to that, he held various management positions in companies such as Siebel Systems Inc. and nova data AG/entory AG. With his extensive expertise in industries such as telecommunications, retail, automotive, manufacturing, life sciences and FSI, Laux will help expand GBS’s business capabilities and fuel the company’s future growth.

In the first company-wide meeting, the new GBS CEO also highlighted his human-centric approach “fully committed to further developing our people-oriented company culture, providing greater opportunities for personal development, and creating a work environment that fosters collaboration, creativity and innovation.”
