How do German companies view the risk to their collaboration in the cloud and what measures do they take to ensure their security?
User survey 2022: “Microsoft 365 and Collaboration Risks: How Companies Handle New Threat Scenarios”
Aim of the study: Until now, e-mail was considered the most important gateway for malware in organisations of all kinds. But with the intensive use of collaboration apps and cloud storage, the attack scenarios are changing as well. Manipulated documents find their way into business IT infrastructures classically via email, but increasingly also via collaboration tools and cloud storage such as OneDrive, SharePoint Online and Google Drive.
Between April and May 2022, we asked German companies how they view the topic of security in the cloud. The focus was on companies that rely on the Microsoft platform for their workplace infrastructure. In our study you will find answers to questions such as:
- How well do companies feel protected when using their cloud environment?
- What prevents them from further expanding their security solutions?
- What are the most commonly used security mechanisms?
- How is the human as a security gap being addressed?
- How is the built-in security of O365 viewed?
- And many more.
